At just 17, Loris Vergier is looking to make his mark in downhill racing.
This year saw the introduction of a separate Junior category at the Downhill World Cups. With the aim of bringing on new talent it gives the youngsters of the sport a chance to shine in their own light rather than being slotted inconspicuously somewhere in the final results of the Elite category.
Stylish on the bike and with a fun attitude, France’s 17-year-old Loris Vergier has grown up under the tuition of his cross-country racing father and rather fast team-mate Loic Bruni.
