“Here are a couple pictures from today and the results of the first qualification run from today.
Phil Sundbaum won the Sick Trick Competition and 1500 Euros to boot. It looks like tomorrow
should kick off, there are 25 riders minus a couple for injuries and they have dialled the course
after a bit of changes here and there. The crowds could be bigger but the English weather has
shown it’s true colors and clouded up nicely as well as droppin’ about 10 degrees off the thermo.
All 6 of the UK riders are in the top ten save Chris Smith who is down in p20. In fact 4 of them are
in the top 5 but it ain’t over till the fat lady sings-and Newcastle has got some big ‘uns. So here are
