News just in that Floriane Pugin has just won the qualifying round for round 5 of this year’s World Cup from Windham, USA.
Qualifying was delayed due to a thunderstorm over Windham mountain. The chairlift was closed as a precaution against lightening strikes. This pushed the start back by 45minutes and made it difficult for the riders to prepare properly at the top, not knowing exactly what time they would start.
Floriane Pugin is on fire at the moment and takes the win by almost 4 seconds.
