Two statues of Jesus, five road crossings, a flat out old skool piste section and wide open technical corners…yes, you could say La Bresse has it all!
2009 was the last time the World Cup festival rolled into the French town of La Bresse. Steve Peat won that year and according to second place Sam Hill was “…a baby shower present…”
Two years later and we’re back. No more babies for Peaty but after his 2nd spot in Windham he’ll be hungry for the win.
The line of the track is nigh bang on from 2009.
A flat out grassy field top section which suddenly steepens up after the first of five road crossings.
Grass and rock is what you’ll find here with only a hint of root.
Super wide in parts and also super steep.
A couple of new features have been included for this year: a step down rock garden, a couple of new fly offs and a wooden homage to Crankworx half way down that could see a few airborne antics.
Here’s a slab of La Bresse photos.
