Pan-American Continental Championship news

Our Chilean contact Eduardo de Solminihac from Montenbaik.com has just sent news from the recent Pan-American Continental Championship race at the La Parva ski resort in Chile.

“The Pan-American Continental Championship is over after three days of amazing level we can say the following:

The Dh was sick, almost 3 minutes for the fastest, of a very loose, rocky, fast and technical track.
La Parva ski resort is looking forward to maybe holding a WC in the next few years.
The Chilean team got 6 gold of 10 on the DH clases, Master C, Master B1 and B2, Master A1 and A2, and Junior.

Our very good friend and almost Chilean Chris Van Dine, got the first place after being preparing in Chile this race for more than a month. Once he got the first place the Chilean Team went crazy to congratulates him like a member of the Chilean Team. The 5 first places were very scketchy in less than a second.

DH Elite Men Results:

1- Chris Van Dine USA 2:54:660
2- Markolf Berchtold BRAZIL 2:54:992
3- Pedro Ferreira CHILE 2:55:014
4- Mauricio Acuña CHILE 2:55:193
5- Antonio Leiva CHILE 2:55:583

The 4X was also a very technical track on the same kind of terrain than the DH. It was a real 4x. The winner was the Ecuatorian Mario Jarrin who won is a Panamerican Champion and very good BMX rider. Second place was for the local Chilean Kike Genova and third place for the Brazilian Walace Miranda.”

Chris Van Dine getting huge props from the Chilean massive.
