Mont Sainte Anne: Friday Weather Bulletin

The weather live from Mt St Anne at 9.00am this morning:

As you can see much the same as yesterday 66 degrees, mist covering the top of the mountain.
But it actually slooshed it down loads last night, more than ever before. The figure in the fore ground is Phil Saxena the 4 cross designer and builder. He was rather hoping for some sunshine to dry out the track as it’s taking a beating with all the rain. Practise was cancelled yesterday to try and preserve the track. Todays practise and qualifying will go ahead as normal. Racing might be fun tomorrow if it’s a mud bath, we should see some over taking and some elbowing.

1/ The graphics on the top tube belong to Mitch Delfs , it might have something to do with him splitting the atom at the Worlds in Italy.
2/ The Mt St Anne track is fast and rocky in parts, this is what happens to a chain device when you hit a rock at 30mph
3/ Delfs is also running these 750 Control Tech bars, apparently there are only three in the whole wide world.

Ever wondered what the top atheletes snack on? At the Atherton pits team manager Dan Brown is in charge of fueling the riders: this is breakfast.

This is Rob Warners executive caravan, it contains all the big man needs for two weeks in Canada.
