Aside from our pun with “FUNN”, the Mongoose MTB squad will be sporting FUNN handlebars and stems in 2007 which is FUNN’s 10 year anniversary in the MTB industry.
“We are privileged to be on FUNN’s sponsor roster” says Mongoose MTB manager Steve Spencer. Steve adds, “It adds to our confidence knowing that FUNN has a reputation as a quality component manufacturer focused on the specific needs of downhill, 4X and jumping.”
Mongoose’s all-around-champ and Tribe leader Eric Carter chimes “I’m excited about the involvement with FUNN to the Mongoose program, these guys have a solid line of products and I know every time I throw my leg over the bike for any race or ride I will have the confidence in my equipment to ride at my limits.”
FUNN representative Ollie Thomas states, “We have been talking to the guys at Mongoose over the last few seasons and when the opportunity came along to get involved with the factory team we were more than willing to step up. With some great bikes and amazing riders, both past and present, we feel very fortunate and are extremely excited to be part of their program. For many years now, EC has been a personal favorite of ours. It will be amazing to see him hit up podiums around the world this season on FUNN Full On bars, Rippa and RSX stems. We want to wish EC and Andrew Neethling a successful 2007 season and most of all hope they have FUNN!”
