Trans Provence 2014 Day 3
Could this be the tipping point in the Trans Provence? The first and second days of racing were taken by Bailly Maitre but Jerome Clementz has picked up the pace and won day three’s stages. The riders were again exposed to some amazing looking single track racing with just 1300m of climbing rewarded by 3000m of descent. At the half way point there is still plenty of racing to go but the top ranked men are taking their race at full speed.
The lead is still held by Francois Bailly Maitre with Jerome Clementz in 2nd after his day three win, Jamie Nicoll is in 3rd just a minute and a half back on JC. Ben Cruz and Chris Johnston round out the top five. The best placed Brit is James Stock in 7th with Al Stock close behind in 9th. Ines Thoma still leads the Women with rest of the top three also unchanged with Anita Gehrig and Anka Martin in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Here are the full results:
