The Mini Downhill series in the Forest of Dean is celebrating its tenth birthday this year with a four race series.
The series is a great way to get into downhill racing on rollable tracks with an almost guaranteed layer of slippery mud to keep things interesting. Previous years have had everything from 10-year-old first-timers to World Champions turn up so there really is no excuse for not having a go.
The races are push up based, but seeing as the tracks aren’t too long it’s not the worst thing in the world. You can also use the FlyUp uplift service on a pay as you go basis.
