CRC Nukeproof team boss Nige Page popped into DirtHQ last Friday with the brand new Nukeproof Scalp downhill bike and a pack of chocolate hobnobs.
Nige slid open the team van doors and out rolled two beautiful bikes…the anodised blue World Cup team Scalp and the black production Scalp.
The kettle went on and after several cups of tea, biscuits and lots of chat Nige and Dirt Magazine deputy editor/sheriff/bike tester Steve “Jonesy” Jones headed up to the Forest Of Dean to knock out a few downhill runs on the Scalp.
Simon at Flyupdownhill provided the uplift and gave Jones a chance to get to grips with the production bike.
Nige told us that Nukeproof is a Hotlines brand and the Scalp will be available through Nukeproof dealers as a frame only which will cost around £1500 with a Rockshox Vivid or £1700 with a CaneCreek.
Check out the video below for our first look at the Scalp.
