British Downhill National Championships from Llangollen Photo Splurge

Thomas Gaffney was up on the hill for us at the British Downhill National Championships in Llangollen this past weekend.

Check out the shots…

The track at Llangollen was different to the one used at this year's national, but as you can see it was steep!

Hot, dry and dusty was the order of the day.

Steep, dark and tech. Never mind riding down it, spectators were having to use ropes to get around some of the upper parts of the course.

A track full of variety, from tight woods to open countryside.

Get loose...too right.

Ruaridh Cunningham on his way to his first ever (in any category) National Championships title.

By all accounts Peaty did not have a good day. Crashes and a purple hand. Fifth place.

Adam Brayton was on it. Third place, but could it have been more?

Tracy Moseley said that she felt the pressure, but with no Rachel Atherton it was really a walk in the park. How many national titles is that now?
