French rider Myriam Nicole has just taken a stunning win here in the last World Cup in Italy overcoming what appeared at the time to be a an unbeatable time set by Rachel Atherton. Both Nicole and Atherton, and later Pugin, were simply riding at a different pace in the steep technical woods. Moseley takes the overall title.
Junior rider Manon Carpenter finished in her lucky 8th spot again but this takes her to 10th in the overall which is amazing!
