Awful news coming from California this morning as it seems an experienced mountain biker has been found dead on the Raptor Ridge trail.

Officials are yet to confirm the cause of death but the body apparently showed obvious signs of outward trauma. It is believed (although not confirmed) that the body is of 43-year-old Sokha Pho, an experienced mountain biker who lives in the local area.
Mr Pho was first reported missing on Sunday. He left for his ride at 7:30am and was expected back at 1pm but never returned. Locals reports are suggesting that the trails were overgrown and “virtually impassable”. The reported sparked a search on Monday on air and on foot until the body was found at 2:30pm by a Sheriff’s helicopter – eight miles from where his car was parked.
This is the second mountain biking death in ten days in California after 65-year-old Dennis Fabozzi crashed and broke his neck on the Shivela Trail.
Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of both riders.
