We have just had word from the ‘Ard Rock Enduro organisers that they are adding two more events to their schedule in 2015. It seems the Enduro was so popular they are giving folk a chance to have a crack at a couple of different events. Here’s the word from the ‘Ard Rock team

After all entries to the festival style ‘Ard Rock Enduro were gone within hours of opening, the ‘Ard Rock team are pleased to announce that Entries to the ‘Ard Rock Time Trial and the ‘Ard Rock Mountain Bike Marathon open on 4th and 6th March, respectively.

‘Ard Rock Mountain Bike Marathon – 27 September 2015

Taking place within the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park on proper natural terrain. A lung bursting and leg smashing 40 country-mile route with over 1500m of climbing and descending. Taking riders on an unforgettable tour of the stunning Dales area, famous for its rocky trails, beautiful views and unrivalled single track descents. The barbeque will be stoked and the beers will be ready for your return. C’mon if you think you’re ‘Ard enough!

‘Ard Rock Time Trail – 17 May 2015

Race against the clock down the legendary Fremington Edge. The ultimate opportunity to zone-in, hang it out and take the glory on real ‘Ard Rock territory. Those who have raced the ‘Ard Rock before will remember ‘Point and Chute’ for its gnarly Rock gardens and steep roll-ins. With an all new track the Time Trial will be the testing ground for those ready to put it all against the clock. Practice in the morning, then race the closed trail in the afternoon. You’ve got two combined runs to get the fastest overall time. And, in true ‘Ard Rock style, Black Sheep Beers and local burgers will be available to refuel you after an ‘ard days graft on’t bike.

2015 sees over a thousand riders travelling to the Yorkshire Dales for a weekend of proper riding and a good old social. As well as the races there will be a huge marquee with live music, food and drink. The pits are stacked with support from world wide leading brands of the mountain bike industry, as well as the super cool transporterland.com with their record breaking vans.
