All new intense 951 frame

Jeff Steber at Intense has been super busy recently. As well as getting the Tracer finished up and into production ahead of time Jeff has designed five new models for ‘09, team bikes, movies and been busy with general company stuff. One of those new models for 2009 is the 951.

The bike began as a revamp of the Intense Socom, but transoformed into something new altogether.

Jeff told us, “the new 951 will be a full–on DH spec, with an 83mm BB and DH geometry. The stock head angle is 64.5º in the middle setting, and remember, we have added the adjustable dropout that will allow 1/4″ +or – on chainstay length, BB height and 1/2 degree on head angle +or –. Travel will adjust from 8 to 8.5″.”

For more info check the Inense website.

Rocket Ralph Jones, Dirt team rider, will be getting his hands on one of these pretty soon so stay tuned for a full review in the magazine soon.
