16 year old Martin Maes put in an incredible, and to be honest quite staggering, performance all year, with times right up there with the ‘big guns’. He started out with a strong start, finishing 4th overall in Punta Ala, but went on to trump that in the final two rounds of the EWS by finishing in 3rd place. Quite astounding for a man of so few years.

Martin still has two more seasons racing in the Junior category, surely we’re going to see even bigger things from this youngster?
