Not content with just DH and Slopestyle riders, Nukeproof have now added enduro riders Tobias Pantling, Joe Buck and Chris Keeble-Smith to their lineup. Here’s the full press release…
2013 Nukeproof Enduro Team
Nukeproof are pleased to announce the introduction of a brand new Enduro Team for the 2013 season to bolster their already strong line-up of DH and Slopestyle athletes. The Team comprises of a handpicked group of up and coming Enduro riders who are set to make waves in the UK and Internationally for 2013. The team consists of Tobias Pantling, Joe Buck and Chris Keeble-Smith. Tobias will be predominantly covering the international Enduro scene competing in the Enduro World Series. Chris and Joe will be keeping it closer to home competing in the UK Gravity Enduro Series venturing across to the continent to take part in the almighty Megavalanche.
Tobias Pantling, the 2012 Amateur Trans-Provence Winner, had this to say;“I could not be any more excited about the new Nukeproof Enduro team. It’s going to be amazing having the support of such a successful and forward thinking brand backing us. Being given the opportunity to ride, give feedback and help with the development of new bikes is a dream come true.
I’ve had a fair few bikes in my time and could not be happier with what I’m riding right now. Massive thanks have to go out to the Nukeproof Design Team for getting things so right!”
Multi round winner of the UK Gravity Enduro Series 2012 and third in Junior at the Mega Avalanche, Joe Buck said;“I am enormously pleased to be joining forces with Nukeproof for the 2013 season, and I definitely think they can help me achieve a lot. I have so much planned for this coming season, and it’s great to have the new Mega to help take me to the top of my game!
Chris Keeble-Smith, not an unfamiliar face on the podiums across the UK Enduro Scene, had this to say;“I’m really excited to be representing Nukeproof and would like to thank them for giving me the opportunity to race across Europe on a Mega AM. I’m planning on putting the new bike to good use and winning some more races!”
The team will be riding the all new Nukeproof Mega AM Pro. Designed for All-Mountain adventure, Alpine playtime and Megavalanche-style Gravity Enduro events, the Nukeproof Mega AM has been refined and improved for 2013 with rear travel increased to 160mm and an all-new custom hydroformed tubeset for increased front-end stiffness and improved strength-to-weight ratio.
