Whoa, that was a busy 2 weeks. We finally got all the shaping done for the Vigo 4X track. Now all that’s left is a week of compaction and then we can fine tune all the take offs etc next week ready for the race. For the 2007 World Cup, riders have asked for a more DH style for the 4X. All I can say about Vigo is, if you have a full sus 4X bike, BRING IT! There are still all the usual jumps and berms but I’ve also included 2 huge rock sections and one off camber rock turn. None of these features would look out of place on a World Cup Downhill track.

I’m now in Schladming checking out the new 4X site and tomorrow I head to Maribor, Slovenia. Thursday will be Val di Sole in Italy and Friday, I’ll be back home in good ol’ Blighty.

BIG NEWS: just recieved an email while writing this blog. WORLD CUP 4X WILL USE RANDOM STARTS FOR 2007!!!!!!!!!!!!
