I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t enjoy watching Sam Hill smash a track to smithereens in his unique style. It’s fair to say he brought a whole new style of riding to the World Cup circuit, especially when it came to cornering. Many have since tried to emulate him, but I’m still to witness someone hitting a corner in the same way as Hill. For that reason alone we think Hill more than warrants a place in this list, and we, like so many others it seems, are so pleased to see him back up to speed and challenging for that top spot.

So yeah, Hill may not be full of tricks and stunts like Cedric, but he’s capable of going insanely fast whilst also looking rad as fuck. You can’t fail to appreciate that.
