Today saw the Athertons continue to dominate the sport of Downhill, Gee finished 4 seconds quicker than anyone else, and Rach finished almost 10 seconds quicker than 2nd place Myriam Nicole. Today racing was postponed for an hour after Taylor Vernon had a pretty big crash and need air lifting to Grenoble hospital, although it’s looking like he’s going to be okay, more news as we get it.
This afternoon we had the Whip Off, and that really got the crowds cheering. This was judged by the riders competing, and New Zealander Cam Johnson took the win.
