Whistler local Brandon Semenuk took the title at Crankworx and with it a cheque for $25,000 CAD. Our top placed UK rider was Sam Pilgrim who landed third spot behind Martin Söderström who took a big crash in his 2nd and final run.
Stand out tricks came from the tall Swedish rider who earlier in his final run pulled a huge triple whip on the upper section of the course. He also had the craziest inverted one foot nac nan you have ever seen. Semenuk and Pilgrim were in the only two riders in the flip drop club and they both made it stick with back flips from the Joyride Hut halfway down the track.
