When I saw this post it reminded me of the bike I built for a prince. No really, he is a Russian prince and money was not a limitation. I couldn’t find a 24″ bike with a slack head angle so I decided to modify a 24″ Scott Nitrous. I used a longer stroke Fox RP23 and cut down the front shock mount to get more travel and lower and slacker angles. The air shocks let me run the perfect spring rates for the little guy. The cranks are 150mm BMX mini race cranks and the rest is pretty much standard mtb parts. Sadly, the little Russian prince rode the bike once and decided that downhilling is not for him. Oh well. I tried.
Here is the bike.
