Just a wee update on the opening weekend of the downhill for you all. This has been one of our busiest opening infact are busiest normal riding days ever with over 150 riders on Saturday and Sunday its topped last years record of 115. Although there was loads of folk about it didn’t feel to congested when I was riding. The Irish team where up, the descent world crew as well and the mighty vibe where out in force on Sunday too. Some of them looking a wee bit worse for wear on Sunday morning where the reports I got back from the ticket office staff.

The track held up fairly well considering the nummbers though a few soft bits took a hammering so Ive got some holes to fix this week and some fine tuning to do on some of the lines in a few sections. Plenty to keep me in honest work!

Feed back from the riders was good too. I think most folk enjoyed the new start,well apart from the holes but I’l fix those!
