Here’s a bit of news from new Dirt team rider Ralph Jones on this weekends first NPS of the year help up in Innerleithen:
“First NPS of the year and I was impressed with the new organisation, everything was looking good and the pits were packed. This was my first national on the Dirt Team and riding the new Intense M3 bike. Saturday didn’t go so well and I had a poor qualifying run, I just wasn’t riding fast and kept making mistakes. On Sunday morning I walked the course again sorting out my lines, as some new ones had appeared and some corners were getting blown out. Practice went well and I was starting to hit all my lines and carry good speed. My race run didn’t seem to come together with a couple of mistakes, but I still set a good time. I landed in 14th place in a very close field with several riders on the same second. This was a good start to the season and I am looking forward though the next NPS at Ae Forest should be a good one.”
Rock on!
