If ever there was any doubting that Renthal couldn’t take their legendary skills of making MX bars and put it to good use in a mountainbike bar, then there needn’t have been. So many companies manage to mess a bar up with funny angles, but Renthal have managed to produce what are without doubt the best shaped bars we’ve ever used, they just feel perfect. The only thing that was slightly lacking at first was width, but Renthal were quick to realise that and the latest generation are now a generous 780mm. They’ve also now added a 10mm rise option, which when combined with the 38 and 20mm ones means they’ve got every taste covered. They might not be the lightest bars about, but Renthal have always been about strength and for that we praise them.
