What a week!
Philbert’s driven 637 miles, drank 19 service station coffees, smoked enough for 3 people, and slept in 5 different beds.
But the week ended with me driving past Heathrow airport at about 9 at night watching planes on their approach and takeoffs, and it got me thinking that the pictures could be incredible.
I went home and did a quick search on the ol’ interweb and came across a few people who have worked the idea but this guys seemed to stand out for me the most, probably because of the the depth of the rest of his work.
Mainly landscapes but often full of people in interesting juxtaposition with the spaces they are inhabiting.
If you look closely at many of the pictures the detailing is great and asks all sorts of question.
Don’t miss his Iceland minimalist work, I want it for my wall in BIG prints and his videos are well worth another 10 minutes of your time.
His name is Kevin Cooley and he is Philbert’s Phriday Photographer.
