The Last Herb is one of the lesser known brands gracing the pages of this guide, but they have got it spot on with the Herb. With simple, clean lines and a suspension system that offers smooth linear travel through to mid travel and then ramps up significantly to prevent wallowing and heavy bottom out, it tracks the terrain exceptionally well. The Herb comes in at a price point that should raise a few eyebrows, as this is nothing short of a World Cup competition frameset. The frame has been slightly revised through 2009 from the earlier models with a lower bottom bracket further improving the ride of the Herb.
A solid bike at a price to make people take notice.
