It doesn’t look like they will make this bike specifically, but they do make something similar. This bike has 135mm hub spacing with a 12mm axle and a 73mm bottom bracket shell. Iron Horse currently makes the 6Point which has the same travel but has 150mm hub spacing, an 83mm bottom bracket shell and a little stouter rear end.
What about the components, are there any special parts? The only real special part is the RockShox Vivid rear shock. It’s only available to a few people and it definitely helps this bike eat up all the bumps.
How heavy is the bike? Have you made it a light as you possibly can?The bike weighs around 33 pounds. It could be lighter with an air shock but Sam wanted it to be able to handle all the abuse he could throw at it, so a RockShox Vivid was the go.
How would you describe the bike? This bike is like the little brother to Sam’s Downhill bike. Its slack, fast, and likes to drift!
