CNC’d in house from 2014 T6 aluminium this stem has remained almost unchanged from the original version. Sure, there are very few parts to a stem but Hope got it right from the start and was in there with short sizes from the very beginning.
From the opposing steerer clamp bolts, to the graphics and the exquisite machining, no detail has been missed. The performance is faultless too. Light, with weights from just 134g, and in the shorter sizes ideal for modern geometry, this stem is stiff, direct and creak free. In either 35mm or 50mm lengths (the latter available with a 20 degree rise option), the dimensions are spot on for us. Pair it up with a well shaped 750-800mm bar and you have an ideal cockpit for your trail or enduro bike.
You’re probably running a shorter stem on your trail or enduro bike but it may well be a lacklustre original equipment model.
