Grant ‘Chopper’ Fielder’s Nukeproof Rook | Pro Bike

At 30 years old Grant ‘Chopper’ Fielder is seen by many as the ‘Godfather’ of the British Slopestyle and Dirt Jump scenes. ‘Chopper’ (a nickname from back when he was a lumberjack) seems to have been around forever. He’s now the family man living in Hampshire with his ‘misses’ and 6 month old daughter Poppy. I seem to remember that he was driving some flash Jag around for a while too!

2013 is a big year for old Chop, after over six years riding for Kona he has made the switch over to Nukeproof and he’s currently spending time onboard their Rook frame. Check it out. Job? You still compete, but you also did a lot of course building.

No ‘job’, full time rider for Nukeproof. In fact, I don’t build many courses these days as I have been focusing on my riding more. I am still up for the occasional input at events though. I compete all over the world still and have been focusing on filming projects and photo shoots. Loving it right now.>>
