Magura Boltron
If their MT range of brakes is anything to go by then Magura are seriously back in the picture with mountainbike products, it’s a brake we reckon on being the ultimate stopper on e-mtb. Now in collaboration with White Power (WP) the new Boltron fork is designed specifically for electric mountainbike use.
Of course quite frequently e-mtb can be quicker on descents (something yet to be fully proven) but we certainly know the weight distribution and ride dynamic to be quite different to mtb’s. No surprise then that many suspension brands have cottoned onto this, but no more impressive looking than the Boltron.
It’s an upside down fork which Magura say offers excellent sensitivity and together with the tubes and coatings that both WP and Magura are incredibly familiar with, should add up to one serious damper. The 35mm fork is air adjust, with 20x11omm axle in 120/150mm travel for both 27.5” and 29” wheel bikes. Cannot wait to get rolling on these.
