Our one criticism of the 2016 YT Tues CF Pro is that our 6′ plus testers were after something a little bit bigger.
At Andorra, Angel Suarez was gifted a custom XL frame and we knew it wouldn’t be long before it was made public. It’s now here and available to order with new component choices and a new colour scheme.
The XL gets another 20mm reach on the large and is the only size in the range to have a 420mm seat tube (the rest all have 400mm). Thankfully Gwin’s success hasn’t gone to YT’s head and the bikes are still great value. The CF Pro is on sale now for £3,399 with a new CF Pro Race spec coming in at £4,299. We can’t wait to get one in to test to see if it reclaims its crown as Dirt’s favourite downhill bike. For now though, enjoy these sumptuous pictures of the ‘Pro Race’ Spec that comes complete with ethirteen carbon wheels, Gwin’s TRP Quadiem brakes and full Fox suspension.
