I spoke to Chris Smith this morning to get the lowdown on the Corsair news. He was just about to head up to the Salisbury plains on his quad bike to make the most of the snowy weather.
Here’s what he told me:
“I’m stoked to ride the Corsair Konig it’s the right tool for the riding I do, nice and light, sweet angles, short back end everything about it is spot on”
I’m also riding the Ducat for hardtail duties and the Maelstrom freeride bike for when the going gets large!
It’s cool to ride for a smaller company it means I will have a lot more input on the bikes. This season I’m going to ride the big contests such as Adidas slopestyle, 26 Trix and Crankworx also I’m going to be filming a lot more this season and producing some podcasts and also working closely with the magazines too.
This winter I’ve been pretty busy building some pretty creative lines, not the usual hips, drops etc ,stuff that hasn’t really been done before, I’ve also just been dialling everything in and riding a lot of skatepark over the winter and getting our local trails running sweet again,Roll on summer!
Chris also told me about some big lines he’s building in a nearby quarry, so stay tuned for a DirtTV episode on that.
Check out the Corsair webber for more info on the bikes here.
