Can you buy a bike for a tenner and then rag it just as hard as your normal bike?

… It turns out the answer is no. Sam Pilgrim bought a couple of charity bikes and then spent an afternoon trying to destroy them. The first bike lasted a couple of downhill runs before giving up, then the next one fared a bit more admirably at the skatepark until it gave up the ghost on a bailed flair.
