The Crankbrothers Stamp is one of the few flat pedals to be available in two platform sizes. With the launch of two more affordable versions and a higher spec option we take a look at what’s on offer.

We’ve been running the Crankbrothers Stamps over the last year alongside our favourite flat pedals from Nukeproof, Bontrager, DMR and Chromag. These are all excellent designs that not only provide great grip but have the right shape (for us) and have proven themselves in terms of durability. All these four pedals are picks in the 2017 Dirt 100.
The Stamp pedals are one of the few designs on the market to be offered in a choice of platform sizes. This is primarily aimed at giving the best surface area for your foot size. With the ‘small’ Stamp (W 100mm x L 100mm) being aimed at a foot size up to 43 and the ‘large’ option (W 111mm x L 114mm) for those above that measurement. Although for most riders a ‘standard size’ pedal such as the DMR Vault (105mm x 105mm) is spot on, it’s those with a smaller foot size that will potentially benefit from having the choice. We have found favour with the original Stamp design though, so it’s not just about the size options with this Crankbrothers pedal.
Crankbrothers have expanded the Stamp range with lower priced options and a few tweaks to the original design, with a premium super-light version for those insisting on the lowest weight components. Here is a brief run down on what is coming. UK stocks should arrive in September.
