Unless it’s the depths of a cold winter or we’re riding in exposed hill top wind and rain, we tend to stick with a lightweight trail glove for most of the year. They give the best feel and just enough PROTECTION without any real compromises. This DND glove from Giro is one of our favourites.
We get through a ton of gloves here at Dirt. They all look great when new, but many are disappointing in the long run. We love a lightweight glove, with a good fit and the right fabrics but with enough durability to go the distance. Plenty just seem to fall apart within a few months and get binned. This is shame if they are a design we love and offer good comfort and control.
Giro describes their DND (Down ‘n’ Dirty) glove as simple and durable, suitable for everyday riding. As with Giro’s shoes and clothing, their gloves show great build quality and are made from premium materials. There’s no penny pinching here, they really aren’t compromising in any way, making an initially expensive purchase good value in the long run.
