The High Roller II really is our ‘go to’ DH tyre. As long as the conditions aren’t muddy then it really is hard to beat, it just strikes such a great balance between speed and grip. It’s not just the amount of grip that this tyre offers that impresses us though, it’s the manner in which it grips. You always know where you are with it, it’s very predictable and unlike some other tyres it will never suddenly break away. For DH duties we’d go for the Super Tacky compound, or possibly the 3C of you want a little more speed and lifespan, but the hard compound version can also be a great option for more general trail use. A true classic of the tyre world.
