Antoine Bizet stormed down the mountain with a run that included flips both ways, tricks up the top and a double backflip to crown it off at Rampage on Friday night. Considering the nightmare he had in the run up to the event, it was an amazing recovery to even take to the mountain, nevermind deliver such a great run.

There was shock as his score of 81.66 was announced and there was even booing in the finish corral although it has to be said, it was probably one of the least tech lines of the day. The internet rallied around him though and, despite finishing 12th overall, he picked up the people’s choice award and $5k in the process.

Should he have been scored higher? In my opinion, it was a great run and was probably scored a bit low, but I reckon you should also have some big mountain chutes and tech to claim top spot. Watch his run here and judge for yourself.
