The Tweedlove festival is taking place right now in and around the Tweed Valley in Scotland – it’s a 10 day celebration of cycling with a heavy slant towards mountain biking. The POC sponsored King and Queen of the Hill enduro race took place over the weekend with local pinner Gary Forrest taking the men’s and Emma Guy taking the women’s.
The men’s podium was rounded out by Enduro World Series organiser Chris Ball in the runners-up spot and ex=pro downhiller Crawford Carrick-Anderson in third (who happened to be celebrating his 43rd birthday – still going strong then). Katy Winton and Lesley Ingram both rode strongly to finish second and third respectively in the women’s race, with Katy only a few seconds down on Emma Guy’s winning time.
