This was one of the truly unforgettable moments in downhill racing. Rémi Thirion, the French rider sponsored by Andorran firm Commencal, took his first ever World Cup podium in the form of a win in front of a huge crowd and on the steepest track of the circuit. It was an inspired ride and one that could be watched time and time again.
