Gary, you legend. One of Ben Cathro’s listeners asked the Scottish giant to ask Aaron Gwin how much he earns and here’s the result.

Gwin has previously stated he is more than happy to discuss his earnings as a way to encourage fairer wages for other riders. Now, thanks to Ben and Gary, we have the answer.

If you combine Gwin’s salaries, bonuses, prize money, signature products, royalties and more, it comes out at a cool $1million. Gwin understandably won’t go into specifics but after his fifth World Cup title win, you can’t argue that he’s not worth it!

Gwin says: “It’s been great, I’m really happy with the sponsors that I’m working with and that are working with me and I easily provide my value to those guys and we’ve got a great group – I’m happy. To all the kids out there, you an make a great career, just work hard, work smart and here we are.”
