We’ve just had a quick run round the pits at Lourdes to get first hand reactions to the shock announcement of Santa Cruz’s 29inch downhill bike.
Fabien Barel, Brendan Fairclough, Martin Whitely, Greg Minnaar and more all chimed in with their thoughts and each had something interesting to say. If you want to take one thing away the video it should probably be: wait until Sunday. While there’s a general feeling the 29 inch wheels will be faster on some tracks, there’s no guarantee they will deliver a win for Santa Cruz.
