FLYUP 417 Project: Part 2

Just wait until you see the pumptrack!

It is here at last… the 417 Project is now open (book tickets here) and we have Part 2 (part 1 is here) of our behind the scenes look at the build, and of course the very special indoor pumptrack from Claudio Caluori and his Velosolutions team (which we did do a bit of a sneak peek of here). Moss Davis from Singularity Film did the edit for us, check it out below.

And just in case you don’t know the story, “The team behind FlyUp Downhill have been working on the ‘417 Project’ since way back in June 2013. Their dream is to build the ultimate privately owned UK mountain bike facility on a 100 acre plot at the side of the A417 road just outside Gloucester and Cheltenham. There will be three downhill tracks, from blue to red/ black grade, with uplift (of course). There will also be a national level 4X track and Dual Slalom run, with the country’s first MTB drag lift service, jump bag, freeride area and one acre dirt jump arena. There are also two separate indoor riding barns (dirt jumps in one, pumptrack in the other) totalling over 1100 square metres, plus a café, bike shop and workshop on site.”
