Join the Propain Dirt Zelvy Team on their last world cup venture of the year. The team congregated from around the world and assembled in Val Di Sole Italy on Tuesday evening.
Minus Filthy Phil who had sustained a small wrist injury in Whistler. The team got to it putting in laps during practice and scouting lines on the ” smoother ” Val Di Sole track.
Come qualifying day and luck was not with the juniors with Henry crashing out and George being held back by another rider despite being 2 seconds up on the fastest time so far on the 4th split. Neither juniors qualified.
Elite rider David Trummer settled into a comfortable 31st position despite having a big off on his last practice lap before quali. Slightly bruised, David came into race day feeling optimistic and felt good on the track. Come his race run David was pushing and felt on track for a good result but two small mistakes cost him some time in the upper regions of the track. However he achieved a solid result placing 25th. All riders are stoked on their new world champs bikes and looking forward to racing down under. Keep your eyes peeled for the World Champs bikes, pictures coming soon.
