Unfortunately the weather was a constant battle at Crankworx Les Gets this weekend and the highest profile casualty was the much-anticipated slopestyle competition. Thankfully the day was saved by an impromptu best trick competition that was held on the huge final kicker.
The fact that Szymon Godziek didn’t podium with a backflip cliffhanger should tell you just how high the standard was. In the end it was Brett Rheeder in third with an opposite corked 720, Antoine Bizet in second with an opposite cash roll and Nicholi Rogatkin took the win with his own Twister 1080.
