Thanfully the pros race didn’t have quite as much carnage as the Challengers on the Saturday, but it still looks to be a brutal, epic ride for all involved – it took race winner Remy Absalon 43 minutes to wind his way down from the top of Pic Blanc Glacier down to the Alpe D’Huez village.
