Mitch Ropelato, schooling most in pumptrack racing.
The bright lights of the Olympic Plaza shone down on the Crankworx Pumptrack Challenge at Crankworx 2013.
Defending champions Mitch Ropleato and Jill Kintner were there to defend their titles and a solid representation from the UK saw Katy Curd take the top UK spot with a 3rd in the Women’s race.
There was some super tight racing with the last straight giving some bar and elbow bashing action. There was the odd crash and some big gap lines from Ropelato and eventual winner Adrien Loron. If you haven’t already checked out the gallery then have a gander here.
Today it’s the big one. The Joyride. We will be on the hill hoping the rain stays away for the finals kicking off later today, expect some wild action on this massive course and of course some more gold from DirtTV.
