2014 Windham World Cup | Practice Video

Full tilt, flat out and warp speed all in one!

Practice was a fast and loose affair at the Windham World Cup, after some rain the course was baked dry and things got loose! We have seen a few crashes so far, Troy Brosnan’s being the worst that he thankfully walked away from just sore. The times in qualifying are super tight and Timed Training was no different, with just two seconds separating the top five riders and less than a second between 3rd and 14th placed riders. This could be one of the tightest races of the season so far and I am betting we are going to be looking at the hundredths rather than the full second gaps tomorrow afternoon.

This is one hell of a fast track, it’s short with a big drop of 388m in just over 1.6km things are going to get wild come race day! Most of the riders seem to be happy on the track with this speed but there are murmurings that too many holes have been filled in smoothing things out. It does seem a pretty straight track up top which is then broken up by some rocks and corners before the gas is opened up once more and the riders are catapulted out into the bottom woods section.

Dirt has been on hand to bring you all the action from the Windham World  so far and if you want to check out our coverage then hit the links right here:
