There are many things that this hill in Utah needs, water being one, riders are another but what it gives back in spadefuls is lines. There must be dozens of combinations up there but the trick is threading that needle in a way that shows off a rider’s particular bag of tricks. This year the event is taking place at a new location and more so than ever the vibe is mixed, some riders are keeping it low key and others appear to be going all out.
Bernard Kerr is out there for the first time and appears to be actively avoiding the big canyons in a bid to make it down the hill in one piece. Brendan Fairclough is also out there and looking for the best line down with a little help from his brother and ambitous crew. It’s going to be interesting what the riders come up with on a new hill but no doubt some big tricks will go down.
