World Cup Final-How the points look

It’s World Cup final time this weekend at Windham, New York. Maribor, Fort William, Leogang, Champery and Val di Sole have all been raced so here is a recap of the points going into the final, round 6.

Just 7 points seperate Gee Atherton and Greg Minnaar. Sam Blenkinsop in 3rd spot is 306 points behind Minnaar meaning that the title is between Greg and Gee with a maximum of 250 points are up for grabs, 50 for qualifying and 200 for the race win.

The battle for 3rd spot is wide open with Blenki, Aaron Gwin and Brendan Fairclough, even Marc Beaumont (currently 6th) in with a mathematical chance if he bags all 250 points.
Steve Peat could go fourth and get him on the box. Cam Cole is out injured so Lehikoinen should move up at least one place to 7th.
Danny Hart (currently 11th) could finish up with a top ten overall making it 5 Brits in the top ten.

It would be hard to bet against Sabrina Jonnier winning the womens overall but she is only 175 points ahead of Emmeline Ragot so it is possible for Ragot to take gold. Then again Myriam Nicole could actually leapfrog Moseley, Pugin and Ragot to claim 2nd. Tracy Moseley needs a good result to break up the French domination at the top of the table and if she gets the maximum points could finish 2nd overall.

Jared Graves has already won 4x series, 135 points up on 2nd place Slavik with only 125 available.

The womens 4x title is a shoot out between Anneke Beerten and Anita Molcik. Beerten is 45 ahead of Molcik.
100 points are available for the win, 75 for 2nd, 50 for 3rd and 40 for 4th.

George Brannigan and Troy Brosnan are neck and neck with 139 and 137 points respectively in the junior mens title. Lew Buchanan is back in 3rd on 95.

In the junior womens event Manon Carpenter has got the title in the bag with a whopping 356 points ahead of nearest rival Fanny Lombard.
